You were right it seems xD

From hearing this at the starting point and at the end i could see you two worked well together. The song was amazing before and it's still amazing now.

only problem i have with it is it still seems a little "flat" but other than that it is perfect. (sorry guys not going to lie there)

The Piano at the start sets the oriental feeling that the rest of the song seems to carry out and play with. The choir seems (in my mind) to bring out the fantasy side of things as well.

I dissagree with everyone here in saying only the piano screams oriental feeling. The strings do play their part too.

all in all though it is an amazing song, fitted to the use of any modernistic anime show or game and i will still recommend you guys to anyone who asks "Who should i get to help me with the music in my projects?".

I love your work Jason and Wf1. Hope you guys collab again ^.^

KTRECORDS responds:

Thanks a lot bro! Make sure to let all your friends know that KTR and WF1 would be more than happy to help out with their projects (time permitting of course, lol). Catch ya lata!

lol i don't even like the genre xD

no idea why but i hate the whole dance genre. but you managed to drag me in to almost dancing to this... firstly GOOD JOB.

i just wish it was alot longer... maybe 3 - 4 mins long, a great song... had to be if you got a "hater" of dance to um... dance xD

heartless1298 responds:

hahaha wow thats a real confidence booster right there. thanks! im actually going to do a round 2 on this so ill pm you when it comes out.

thanks for the review!

i had to laugh

is it sad that i can name most if not all of the tracks you are using... including the drum sequences xD.

anyway, you needed more variety in the actual rythm i did notice that you changed the actual notes once through out the whole song (rated you down a bit)

although you did use the same notes you did change the rythm of the notes (cheers to that)

Still i can't rate you below a 3 (my policy) because in all honesty it's not as bad as... my first trance AND a few others i have actually heard. It's higher than, in my opinion, some of the other first attempts.

Good job and hope to hear more from you in the future.

Tik115 responds:

as long as it gets an average review score of over 7 i'm happy to be honest

it was good

loved the into, soft and led into the song well. However the main body of the song got pretty repeditive.

and the piano seems to be a little over powered when it really shouldn't be. If your piano is your lead and the "dirty synth" is your rythm then the piano should be over powering, not overpowered.

That's just how it seemed it was to me, you might not have been aiming for that.

Still a great song, the reditiveness rated you down.

nightsurfermusic responds:

Yeah, i don't much like this song.

Truly epic

Didn't even wait for the song to end before i started writting this. This song is amazing... you raise the suspense and i fucking feel it (excuse that i used it for emphasis). They come in at perfect timing and there is never a dull moment, even during the quiet section i was still recovering from the intro lol

In whole the song just blew me away.

Truely epic man love this song, I was about to call it a night before i heard this, now i'm filled with inspiration and energy to work the night away while listening to your works.

Nintechno responds:

Thanks for the awesome review man! I was going for an inspirational sound, and it looks like that's what happened!

Good 8 bit

I know you were aiming for an 8 bit boss battle... and i think you nailed it, evil and i can safley say a "boss battle" like music. But i am a fan of new and more modern times, and as a game maker am looking for new aged music for my game.

Would've been nice to come here and find this to be a modern song not 8 bit. I think this is why your getting rated so low... no one these days, except "old school" gamers or fan's of the nes system would like this and i've seen a fair few 8 bit boss battles on newgrounds so it's nothing new to people anymore. But keep it up this is a nice 8 bit boss battle piece.

Ephersand responds:

There you go I've just submitted a more realistic version for you because I am a man of the people. Thanks for your comments. I'm happy to cater to any more requests.

Getting better every time

It is a new spin from the old version, sounds more medieval and gothic with the new drum sequence. Only thing i could see being added to thins song, is maybe an acoustic nylon stringed guitar or lute xD.

Honestly i really don't know how your going to make this better, but that doesn't mean you can't. I thought the same on the last versions and still you made them better.

Oh and just for dude09's sake it is going in a game. lmao xD

KTRECORDS responds:

It still feels like it needs something. Josh and I have been trying to figure out what it is. I'll try that lute and see how it works out. I'll keep ya updated!

A confidence booster...

Josh was right when he said you have talent on your own... I wasn't expecting this though. The song on whole just works enough said really. The only downside i saw was the ending... after listening to the song get more and more intense i was expecting a HUGE finale, but was sadly let down. Other than that the song in my eyes and non bleeding ears is perfect. great job.

and now the catchy tune will be caught in my head for days.

KTRECORDS responds:

I've been thinkin about changing the ending, since that seems to be the part that gets the most complaints from my friends. I;m still picking at it, so maybe that'll be my next step. You are more than welcome to use this in your rpg project if you'd like. just let me know and I will see if I can cut it down to whatever size u need.
